Our land is characterized by an unusual combination of art and nature. We will be glad to suggest you various itineraries throughout places, images and emortions which will help you discover this territory.

One of the best art itinerary is “in steps of Piero della Francesca” starting from the Resurrection fresco, his masterpiece, at the Museo Civico in Sansepolcro, to the Expectant Virgin in Monterchi and the frescoes of The Legend of the True Cross in Arezzo. This is also the territory of the Renaissance maestros like Michelangelo Buonarroti who was born in Caprese Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci to whom is dedicated a Museum in Anghiari, an old medieval town famous for its artisanal looms and the Artisan Fair in spring, an excellent occasion for discovering items of local production. Other art-cities like Cortona, Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi are less than one hour driving from our house.

Nature and history are well represented at Aboca Museum in Sansepolcro, a unique show of herbs and their use through the centuries with a collection of beautiful ceramics and ancient books.

The Tiber Valley has many spiritual points of interest spread over its beautiful territory: small ancient Romanesque churches (Pievi) hidden all around the countryside and many hermitages and sanctuaries. Still many pilgrimms coming from Assisi in steps of San Francesco arrive in the surroundings of the farmhouse visiting the near hermitage of Montecasale and Cerbaiolo and the Sanctuary of La Verna, where the Franciscan spirit can be perceived in any tree, flower and stone..
