The lavender

The lavender..

...can grow spontaneously or cultivated in barren and very sunny zones. When it flowers the farmer brings here its beehives with the bees and the honey of forest gets the unmistakable scent of lavender.
To the lavender many medicinal properties, calming and antispasmodic like, are attributed, both for ingestion, for external use and for aroma therapy. As every grandmother knows, the flowers buckets are put in the drawers in order to perfume dresses or linen.
It is picked in July and that is a wonderful day.
An ancient saying says “the intellectual job makes a man hermit while the job in nature combines people” and the harvesting of the lavender may for sure witness it.
